This holiday card was made for Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch Challenge #482 which also required a wreath or foliage. Again, I'm into my Christmas card making phase, so knew right away that my design just HAD to be a holiday card!

I wanted the wreath to be an elegant one, so chose light gray, embossed silver and embossed gold as my colors. The banner behind the wreath was part of the sketch, but I didn't want it to overwhelm the wreath, so chose a light blue vellum.

I used my Stampin' Up! (SU) Stamparatus stamp positioning tool to stamp the three different colored layers of the wreath - heat embossing the silver and gold layers. Then I die cut the wreath with it's matching dies. The bow was also heat embossed with gold and die cut.

I chose to use a simple embossed white background with no further embellishments since the wreath is the centerpiece. The blue banner was glued to the card front using Tombow glue, then the wreath was mounted using adhesive foam dots to give it more depth. The ribbon was simply glued on top of the wreath.

I wanted a simple sentiment, so chose the word "job" from my Sizzix set of "Seasons Greetings" word dies. I die cut two words, then glued them together to stiffen and darken the word a bit. It was also simply glued to the card front.

The card base is the same color gray that I used in the wreath.

I am rating the difficulty level of this holiday card as a "2" out of a possible "5". With matching dies, it was really easy to create. It wouldn't even be too difficult if you had to fussy cut the wreath.
