This card was made for 52 Christmas Card Throwdown #10-20 color challenge which required the use of only white, green and brown colors.
I wanted a large foil tree to be the centerpiece of this card, so looked all over the internet to find just the right design. Finally found YoPriceVille's beautiful free png file called "Merry Christmas Deco Tree" at https://gallery.yopriceville.com/Fre...t#.XnFsf6hKiUk
Since it was a png file I imported it into my Brother Canvas Workspace software and converted it into a draw file compatible with my ScanNCut CM350 file.
Using my We R Memory Keepers (WRMK) Foil Quill and green foil from their "Peacock" collection, I foiled a piece of Stampin' Up! (SU) white cardstock. It turned out pretty well!
I then die-cut the foiled tree out with a stitched rectangle die and then matted it with a green glitter cardstock. Since the core of the cardstock was white, I rubbed an SU Certainly Celery ink pad on all the cut edges of the glitter cardstock. I then cut a piece of white craft foam that was slightly smaller than the green glitter matting and glued it to the back before then gluing the matted tree to the craft 5"x7" card base.
If you have some type of foil quilling device (either adhesive or heat type), this project is very easy. The file was free, and easily converted to a compatible file for my ScanNCut. Because of this, I am rating the difficulty level of this card as a "2" out of a possible "5". You could achieve a similar look by using a green shiny glitter embossing powder, if you don't have a foiling tool.
