This is a Design Team card for Watercooler Wednesday Challenge WWC210 - Heidi's "All About Occasions" Challenge. Come join us for inspiration and fun!
I had seen this beautiful card on Eva Pottsova's "Crafting With Angels" blog that included not only a written tutorial, but also a video tutorial!!! I fell in love with the card immediately, and contacted Eva to ask if I could re-create it. She graciously said yes! So, please visit her blog for detailed instructions.
Special notes I would add are to stamp your inside hidden sentiment BEFORE you glue the white panel to the card base. It allows you to use a stamp positioner, and even re-stamp if you need to. The sentiment I used inside the card is an especially difficult one to get a good inked image on the first stamping.
For coloring the wine bottle and the glasses, I used Copic R24, R56, YG06, YG09, and YG67. Also note, that you can use just about any corner punch for the tag top, even the SU "Tag Topper" punch.
Because there is not a matching die set for these stamps, I used a digital cutting machine to cut the wine glasses and wine bottle. I added no outside white margin to the stamped images. Since the glasses and bottle are pretty smooth outlines, it should be easy to fussy cut them out by hand.
I am rating the difficulty level of this card as a "4" out of a possible "5" because of all the precise cuts needed, and the multiple steps. It's not super hard, but you have to pay particular attention to all the details.
I love Eva's card, and was so glad she said "yes" when I asked if I could duplicate it. I really couldn't find any possible way to improve on her beautiful design!!! Thank you, Eva!!!
