This card was made for my daughter who is expecting her second little girl in April. It was made as a Design Team Card for Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch challenge #363:  The optional challenge was "Motherly Love", which is perfect for a Mother to her daughter is about to become a new Mother!

The card base is Stampin' Up! Melon Mambo, with the Blushing Bride pink panel topped by a smaller pink gingham check pattern paper from Stampin' Up!'s retired "Sweet Pea" Designer series paper.

The cute baby footprints are from SU's retired "Baby Prints" stamp set. They were stamped onto a round Whisper White circle with Versafine Onyx Black ink. The round white circle was matted with a scalloped Melon Mambo circle diecut with a Nestabilities scalloped circle die. Tombo glue was used to do the matting,

The Whisper White banner was flagged by hand with paper snips, then glued onto the card front after the sentiment from SU's "Mini Mates" was stamped using the Versafine Onyx Back ink.

The matted footprint ensemble was mounted onto the card front using adhesive foam strips to life it off the card.

I think she will like this cute card... by the way, the baby's name will be "Lily". I'm quite proud!

I am giving this card a difficulty rating of "2" out of "5" because how quickly it came together, and how easy the sketch was to work with.

  1. Such a cute card - congratulations to you and your daughter and baby Lily x

  2. Thank you, Fiona! As are all new babies, out little Lily is precious
