This card was made for TGIF Challenge #134: http://tgifchallenges.blogspot.com/ where the theme was to be "gratitude".
With our upcoming trip to visit my sister who hosts Thanksgiving each year, I felt it would be nice to enclose our contribution to the dinner costs in a nice thank you card.
The fall fruits stamp from Stampin' Up! "Thoroughly Thankful" set was stamped four times with Versamark onto a panel of SU Cajun Craze.
Then I stamped the sentiment from the SU "Watercolor Thank You" set with SU Early Espresso Ink. Since I wanted the words to be bold and dark, I used my MISTI to stamp it three times.
The smaller words were also stamped with Early Espresso using a sentiment from SU's "In the City" set. I used the MISTI again, and didn't ink up the word "thanks" in the sentiment.
Finally, I used a tan button from my stash, and threaded it with some yellow twine that was a close match for the SU Hello Honey cardstock I used for the card's base. I attached the button with four Mini Glue Dots.
The final panel was glued to the card base using Tombow glue.
This was a relatively quick and easy card, so I am rating it a "2" out of "5" in difficulty. If it wasn't for the need to align the fall fruits stamp to create the background, I'd rate it a "1". It's nice to do a quick card once in a while!
